Random sci-fi themed question/musing?

Resistance is futile 😉
Definitely. My hubby also has a titanium wedding ring. He knows resistance is futile and defers to my good taste when it come to decorating and home furnishings :D

My wife turns to me in that department. She will grab some sample ideas then we discuss the merits of designing a mutual space.
We do decide together, but he defers to my uncanny knack of remembering the exact shade of something at home and being able to pick stuff while out shopping that matches or compliments the colour.

Sounds like one of the (so called - not me being harsh) trivial superpowers (https://www.newscientist.com/articl...-the-trivial-superpowers-our-readers-possess/) - mine is being able to look at a container with something in it and know whether it will fit into a different container - left over food and a variety of storage pots being the main use for my "trivial" superpower.

Our rule, is only decide the final colour from the samples with strong sunlight filling the room. The bedroom was pretty much my idea. I sold the idea of having it schemed like or inspired by some of our favourite places we stayed during our travels? I’ve tried AI simulated interior design on a PC, but it never gives the same vibe on screen.
