Been T2 for almost 4 months (how did that happen...) and the forum has been so helpful. Of course being curious I have loads of questions - don't ask me to speak to the GP, she is very smiley and polite but... Any how my questions are as follows - are three meals a day suggested in order to stop as much snacking as possible (which I suppose is where the biscuits etc fit in) and to give a regular eating routine? I do breakfast and an evening meal and lunch can be soup, or salad and a slice of rye bread (much nicer than it sounds). I lost weight (mixture of the diabetes and mammoth walking trips to help my dodgy knees- all this happened at the same time!).I am not too happy with the skinny beans I have become - although it is all healthy and good I just don't like it and would like to increase it a little or simply maintain the current weight - but salads etc are not really conducive to that. I have been advised that I can increase my intake of avocado (yum) and nuts (double yum), all good. I have noticed after my nut feast - brazils, I feel quite full up, is that what happens?
