I've just taken a step backwards. I love my Novopen Echo pen but hate the case. Just discovered the pen will fit into the grey plastic Novopen 3 case I've retained and I'm chuffed. It's also easier to access, no fumbling with a zip.
Is it just me or do others want their pen to look like a pen and not a medical instrument? The illusion is there when you first take out the pen to inject - great design, could pass as a pen, but it goes as soon as you whip off the top and are confronted by ugly plastic and a very visible ampoule.
At least my new (old) case attracts less attention when I try to do a discreet injection.
