Optical Blood Glucose Reader - Any one heard of Occuity?

Hi all recently stumbled across this company who are active in the Optical Healthcare sector and have been working on the development of a non-invasive blood glucose reader that can provide a reading from scanning the eye. They seem to be running under the diabetes radar at the moment but would like to engage more with the diabetic community and get some feedback on what they are proposing from potential users. As with most new developments there are pros and cons however I will hold off giving my thoughts as wouldn't want to impact your views. Interesting idea, but it’s likely to be blown out of the water by Apple and Google. Both are set on releasing upgrades to their smart watches in the near future which will have continuous blood glucose monitoring using light bounced through the skin.

Interesting idea, can't wait for the NHS to replace my CGM with an Apple Watch and Iphone.
