Hi all recently stumbled across this company who are active in the Optical Healthcare sector and have been working on the development of a non-invasive blood glucose reader that can provide a reading from scanning the eye. They seem to be running under the diabetes radar at the moment but would like to engage more with the diabetic community and get some feedback on what they are proposing from potential users. As with most new developments there are pros and cons however I will hold off giving my thoughts as wouldn't want to impact your views. From the link you can join the community and they should then send you a link to a survey showing 4 potential monitor designs (designed by an ex-apple designer) - which would you prefer?

This is the limit of my on-line footprint but if there are any bloggers etc who want more information to take this further, I was contacted by Richard Kadri-Langford - Head of Digital Marketing who can be contacted on Linked-In.

Interesting idea, but it’s likely to be blown out of the water by Apple and Google. Both are set on releasing upgrades to their smart watches in the near future which will have continuous blood glucose monitoring using light bounced through the skin.

Interesting idea, can't wait for the NHS to replace my CGM with an Apple Watch and Iphone.
