If you're driving a Tesla then you need a sticker and better keep your fingers crossed. There's a large Tesla sales lot near where I live and I keep expecting something to happen. I bet security has been ramped up.

I’m aware of the protests. I’m all for it & a boycott of these products. What I wouldn’t condone is (& there have been documented cases caught on Tesla cam security features? Granted this was months ago dubbed “Tesla envy.”The keying of. ) is vandalism to someone’s property.

I posted above. “Tesla envy” has been documented for a while online (months?) where cars get keyed? (People caught on camera.) Yet other motors are not targeted.

I found out something about musk last night...apparently his grand parents emigrated from canada to south africa just after the war cos they had been in the canadian nazi party and prefered the political climate of south africa....ie apartheid.........kind explains a lot dosnt it

I am seeing stuff online about slam the door hard enough & the trim (door card.) falls off? Also the Cybertruck has a door striker issue that can be fixed with gaffer tape. (The top bolt was loose & couldn’t be screwed back in because the “captive nut” had dropped down the the sills?) There is also some footage of mud & snow trapped Cybertrucks getting towed by Fords.

yeah I saw that, but some of them don't think he should be removed as he deserved the award before he took a left down the conspiracy theory rabbit hole and went bats*** crazy
My guess is there will be more grumbling there, and no removal
 
I was appalled by it all but then I don't like Trump or Vance anyway. I wouldn't expect Zelensky to be wearing a suit anyway when his country is at war as many have said. Kemi Badenoch made a good point on Sunday that they ought really to have had an interpreter as English is not Zelensky's mother tongue. It certainly should have all been done behind closed doors.

All this does need sorting out and I am glad I am not the one that is going to have to do it. Think our Gov are being sensible in not being goaded to make negative comments about the US.

I can understand how you feel. I personally find politics interesting and most rows get sorted eventually. We all have to try to tolerate and get on with each other.

Perhaps just look at the BBC website once a day. I felt like that during the Covid crisis and stopped reading newspapers and watching the news. I now just check the BBC website once or twice a day.

Most of the media is negative and constantly goading people so that they can get headlines. They are trying hard now to get Keir Starmer to criticise President Trump and J D Vance although everyone having shouting matches gets no-one anywhere and someone has to sort it all out eventually.

I don't like bullies either. One of my friends is on the side of Trump and Vance (she is the only person I know who is). I have had to say to her today that we need to agree to disagree as I do not want to keep going over the same ground over and over again as it is pointless. She is not a bully by the way.

Vance? An “interesting” guy. Challenged Starmer regarding “freedom of speech” & was politely handled by our PM on the US press jiffy. Vance didn’t seem to think well of hate speech laws & tackled the German chancellor when visiting Germany? Personally, I like to know who the “bar stewards” are when it comes to “that sort of thing.” But Vance seemed to think stationed American service men were above the law, “when in Rome.” From what I gathered.
