So I'm just over a month in to my diabetic journey and still adjusting, but not quite as overwhelming as it was.
Finding BG readings can sometimes be erratic - one particular meal might not have any significant impact on BG, so I'll have the same thing the week after and instead of a meal rise of say 1 or 1.5, it'll go up 2.5 or 3. Not sure why it does this but guess it'll settle down.
Generally speaking, waking readings are around 8.5 but stay around 7.5 after I have eaten, bit like a mild Dawn Phenomenon. Not sure if I can stop this?
Since I went to 2000mg of Metformin I've had mild abdominal pain. Hoping this settles soon as it does seem to be effective.
Thanks for listening, just wanted to share.
