This is just a quick one - I've now been at this game for a month, since I was first diagnosed on 1st May. I cannot believe how long May seemed; I kept telling myself that if I could just make it to June, I'd have made it to a landmark, small though it might be, and I could definitely do this.
Had a huge cry on Sunday night, although I think I felt a lot better from it, and saying to my housemate that, no, I'm not really coping as well as I want to.
I've now got two injections of Novorapid (tiny though, at 2 units each), to go with my Lantus, which we keep having to take down (I'm at just 6 units now).
But the main point of my posting this is to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you. You've all been fantastic, and so helpful. You've made this much, much easier for me, and made me feel like I'm not on my own. So thank you all for being such wonderful people.
xx
