Omnipod 5 and Libre 2+ a few thoughts

My TIR is around 92%. Interesting idea you have there. If it causes anxiety / mental load, could that mean I qualify for a pump? Has anyone else had success with this?

How much time below range do you typically have? Could you use that as an argument if more than 4%
I think you would need to provide examples of how that extra mental load affects you. Do you worry significantly about complications if your levels go a bit high. Do you have disturbed sleep because of concerns of going high or low. Do you restrict your diet or exercise perhaps obsessively or monitor your levels obsessively and micromanage in order to maintain that low HbA1c. How would you feel about relaxing your management a bit? Do you react negatively to that thought? You might not get such a good result on an HCL system. Have you considered that and how you would feel about it, if you did? Is that worth the trade off of less mental burden.

There are significant psychological aspects to diabetes and we have to try to be aware of these and manage them as well as managing our diabetes itself. You may have fallen into a routine of managing your diabetes too tightly and perhaps now you are trapped by your really good results into feeling that you have to continue to achieve them and that can lead to feelings of frustration and failure if your HbA1c rises a bit or burnout if you try to maintain them. These things may not be an issue for you but important to stop and consider them.

Have you been diagnosed long?
