Me too. Adore a pickled gherkin. And pickled onions. And pickles in general. In fact, anything vinegary. Except chips. Can't stand vinegar on chips...Love a pickled gherkin. Problem is an open jar would soon be an empty jar.

When I was a student we used to go into a local Sheffield pub and always noticed the big jar of pickled eggs behind the bar. This was what made us wonder in that pub in Sheffield - we saw the big jar emptying of eggs, but we never saw anyone eat one! 😱Pickled eggs is just about the only pickled thing I can eat. I've only had one in a pub though & God knows how long they had been sitting there.😱
