Hope to have some good news for once on Friday with the my second appointment with the hospital DN as things are going pear shaped on other health issues.
I had my annual ish sleep apnea appointment, it seems that while my apnea's have stayed stable at the same rate as last year which is the good news. The cpap machine is now running at a pressure of 19 out of a max of 20, was 16 last year.
Weight has stabilised my be lost a kilo as was wearing heavy motor bike clothing. also now ordered a heated air hose so I can increase the humidity of the humidifier without getting rain out effect.
The bad news is she's writing to the doc of her concerns about weight and diabetes interacting with the sleep apnea. Also having increased blood pressure meds around 8 weeks ago, I submitted another days monitoring results and was expecting another call back from the doc. Had the call a day after from the GP wanting to change meds again as pressure to high.
So many interactions now going on between illnesses and meds, it's getting a nightmare to manage, I want to loose weight and need to loose a lot.
I know that they have ruled out insulin for the time being, but Victoza could well be on the cards, just hope I can get it and it does help with the weight loss, I hate this gliclazide as I just can't win with it.
