Having regular good nights sleep should build up my mojo to loose weight at present i am tired all the time and got no get up and go

Welcome to the forum, Fredjones1uk. The general advice for improving sleep is called "sleep hygiene", so it's worth searching online for that. One aspect that can promote better sleep is exercise, especially outdoors eg walking, and that would help with managing weight, too.

Can you recommend some thing i could do or take as the sooner i can sleep regular i can start to gain control of my weight

Hi Fred, welcome to the forum 🙂 How did you come to be diagnosed, and how have things been going for you? Are your blood sugar levels under good control? If they are higher than normal, or fluctuating, then this can certainly result in tiredness and difficulty motivating yourself. Do you get any regular exercise?

Please search for "sleep hygiene". You should find a whole range of techniques / routines to try.

Welcome to the forum, I understand about the tiredness, but I do try and do a 30 minute exercise DVD a few times a week.

Hi Fred from a fellow T2 who's 2 years in

I have tried low carb lost nearly a stone i used to be a keen hill and long distance walker but the pounds are starting to return and feel to tired to go out walking
It's worth trying a short walk if you can manage it Fred, particularly beneficial after eating. Once you can start to get your levels down you'll feel less tired and everything starts to become much better 🙂
