I eat chocolate most days, but it is 1 of 2 squares of 90% choc, which you can learn to love! Very low carb and makes me feel I am not missing out. Also, if I sm going to have a treat, for example a pudding on a meal out, I get it and immediately cut in half and either get it boxed up, give it away. I couldn't leave half of it, but without that half there, I don't miss it. I then eat the pudding as slowly as I can and really concentrate on it. I take note of the lovely flavours and textures and appreciate it, as opposed to shovelling it down while chatting away. I swear I enjoy it more than my fellow diners (that's what I tell myself anyway...)
