hello . I had to create a new account as I couldn’t remember any of my old info. Type 2 for 12 years. 56 yrs old. Currently using a Dexcom one+ CGM that i stumped up and bought a 3 month supply of. Just wanted to say it is a game changer for me managing my numbers. I know that they aren’t available for type 2s, but they really should be. My GP said that if they were to prescribe it for me then it would flag up on the system and they would be reprimanded. However,. If i can prove that by wearing it my HbA1c falls to normal levels then they could argue a case for prescribing it.

Hi @Delacey1968 and welcome (again!) to the forum - glad you are finding that a CGM helps, and great that your GP is open to arguing the case if you can prove it has prompted some positive changes - good to hear they are thinking outside of the box 🙂
