Hi all
I have been a type 2 for so long I can't even remember when I first got it. Possibly about 10 years. My control is up and down. When first diagnosed I was overweight by about 3 st and managed to gradually lose the weight and get myself fit walking then a Wii and then the gym. I am under a lot of personal stress at home and have quite a high stress job and work shifts, which doesn't help with the control let's face it. Currently at home for 12 weeks, hence although frequently use the DiabetesUK site, just decided to log into forum- one of those ' jobs I have been meaning to do. I'm on metaphormin, dapagliflozin and glipizide, my GP said no where else to go apart from insulin. I did do the Newcastle diet for 6 weeks a year ago helped me get things back under control then next bloods it'll be up. Gone from 56 to 76..... pain in hoop. Hope everyone is keeping well
