Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I'm June and though I have had diabetes for 15 years I have never joined any diabetic support groups and really feel the need to do this now. I dont seem to have anyone whom I can discuss any problems with. Need some advice about 'foot neuropothy' which is proving difficult for me at the moment. I also wonder whether there are now newer smaller sugar monitors may be a smaller one that I could carry around for when I think I am having a hypo. I have also been advised by my health practice nurse to stop using glicazide. She said that they usually take older people off this. I did come come but my sugar reading went up so have gone back onto it again. I am 82 and slim, I have never had to diet.
