Thanks Julie. My neighbour was kind enough to check on me around lunchtime, but no dramas today. I was 5.2 before lunch, but I was 3.1 before evening meal - no real symptoms, so it didn't feel like I was falling off a cliff! 😱🙂 I think it might be a good time to download my meter again because I think I've had quite a few hypos recently.

Sympathies Northerner. How awful for you. I'm interested to read others' readings of 1.7 etc -- E has had these sorts of numbers 4 times in the last 7 months, and each time he didn't really notice them -- he just felt 'weird'. Whereas at times 2.5 have just led to feeling dreadful...It's the fast drop, I'm sure, like others are saying.

Anyway. What a great neighbour. In turn, you must be a good neighbour too!

Take care.

Thanks Patricia. I don't mind the hypos if they behave themselves and respond straightaway to treatment!

I have just looked at my meter readings over the past 6 months. In that time I've had an astounding 150 hypos! Well, if they're in range 3.5-3.9 my meter calls them 'below target', only those below 3.5 are called hypo and I've had 80 of those. That's 25 a month below 4.0 - almost one a day. Can't be doing me any good, I'm fed up!:(
