Thanks CarlogI have used it and it gives information, loads up your diabetes results, cholesterol, kidney function medicication. My biggest problem is I forget my password. Great site and you can digest your results before your review
did you know you can do a conference call with three cups and string. I was amazed that it worked!!I should add, in Scotland my medical records could be accessed by any hospital I went to. I suspect that might apply to any GP, too, but never tested it. Sure is more integrated than NHS England, but then I think NHS England communicates with two yogurt cartons and a piece of string.

It is currently being developed across other CCGs in England. I am trying it out for ours and giving feedback to the developers. You could ask at your practice and see if they are doing the same. From what I have seen so far it gathers everything together about your diabetes in one place, and also provides hyperlinks to resources that can be of use for specific aspects.Pity its not rolled out across the UK, Patient Access is a waste of time.
No, I have virtually nothing, just appointments, allergies and repeat prescriptions, same as when I was in Southampton 🙄Have you got access to emis patient access. I am able to look at all my historic results in there. Similar to my Diabetes My Way but covering everything. I had to ask the Practice for the additional access as it is at their discretion. I can look at all tests as a list or as graphs. It was quite interesting looking at HbA1c historically as it was easy for me to spot when I got my pump, and then when I started to use the Libre.
This system went back to earlier results before I joined emis.

GP surgeries can choose not to allow access to all services that are available on the online systems. That is the basic access but I was told you can ask for further access to your medical records. I filled in a form and then it was checked by my GP and that was it. Sorted. Worth a try.
Not offered by surgery, but you can register an interest, which I have done 🙂That is the basic access but I was told you can ask for further access to your medical records. I filled in a form and then it was checked by my GP and that was it. ISorted. Worth a try.
I have and keep asking about blood results. Not offered by surgery, but you can register an interest, which I have done 🙂
