Have been having these after meals & even sometimes on their own. They’re definitely less sweet tasting as the less sugar hasn’t been replaced/supplemented with sweeteners which I REALLY like!😛 I don’t like eating things with sweeteners & do my best to read ingredients labels of everything to avoid them: confuse the brain into eating more to make up the missing calories; expecting a certain amount of calories from how sweet things are!
The Angel slices are JUST about sweet enough, for me, & not too bad on my blood sugar levels: if in range no extra insulin for a slice or two after dinner; needs some insulin if eating them on their own with a cuppa! 😛
The Chocolate slices are about the same impact on blood sugar & insulin levels but, JUST a teeny weeny bit of a hint of bitterness so, I like them less than the Angel slices.🙂
They’re both quite nice for every day, if you want, eating that’s not too bad on my blood sugar levels as they’re not very sweet but, if like me most cakes etc are TOO sweet for me, that’s fine by me! 😛
If Mr Kipling did a few more of their range with reduced sugar & no sweeteners that taste less sweet I’ll give them a go too? 🙄
