MikeyBikey Is Unwell - Part II

Sorry to hear you ended up have that done, wishing you a good recovery from the op and the overall infection.

Sorry to hear that you had to lose your toes Mikey. I can't begin to imagine how you are feeling today, but I hope it helps your recovery from the infection. Sending hugs x

Gutted that you had to lose them Mikey but really hoping this will be the beginning of your recovery now. You have battled that infection so long and whilst there were times when you made some progress it clearly wasn't sustainable progress. Sending more (((HUGS))) and the very best of wishes for a speedy recovery.

What a shame that had to happen @MikeyBikey , but hopefully that will go a long way to shifting the stubborn, stubborn infection.

Positive, healing vibes from the Breathe corner of the world.

Thank you for all the kind comments. Part II is an angioplasty to try and improve blood flow longer term. Both Parts were planned for Thursday but they sprung another surprise an hour ago . As they dished out the evening meal the nurse said " Enjoy your meal, you have your procedure in the morning". No, I said Thursday. It appears it is tomorrow but no one told me. It is a nuisance as relatives had planned to visit tomorrow and I have texted to cancel their visit. It is now early next week! About par with the project managers when I was working!

Best of luck for tomorrow then. Hoping they are able to improve your blood flow which will obviously help a lot with healing. Keeping fingers crossed for you Mikey!
