Over the last couple of weeks I've started to see BP readings a bit under 100/60. Quite frequently, all times of the day. That's like around 12/12-ish lower than what I've been used to. AFAIK, I'm not doing anything different except maybe increased daily steps a smidgen.

And it feels good! So I doubt that it's an indication of incipient heart failure or anything like that.

Dunno? Does anybody else have levels down around there?

I eat a very heart/BP-healthy diet, including < 750mg sodium and satfats at ~5% of cals, plus walking ~13K steps per day recently, so I expect to have reasonable BP levels. But a bit surprised to see <100/60 ...

Recent weight loss?

Reason ask, wife has lost fair bit of weight & seen lower bp levels as result, she always had low levels but recently been around 100/60 range, lower on waking, gp knows doesn't seem concerned.

Mine is always in the region of 100/60, sometimes a bit lower first thing. GP is not concerned because I always get white coat syndrome and produce something like 120/70 in the surgery. I feel fine on it, so I’m not worried.

Thanks all!

Yes. And lower. (As low as 80/50 out of hospital I think.)

I've always had mine taken at the GPs or hospital, so always white coat syndrome for me. Never known my BP at any other time.
GP & hospital were never bothered when I was 130/80 a long time.

On top of my heart issues, I'm not doing well on it.

Low BP is not recognised as a possible problem in this country but it is in some other countries. If it goes too low you can faint but for some their BP is lower than average e.g. my wife and not an issue.

You might check the meter. My high BP was instantly cured after a meter check. We just compared the reading on the meter at the surgery with that of my meter.

That was my first thought, but my little Omron gadget calibrates well with my GP cousin's professional BP rig.

My husband's has always been low, to the extent that since I've known him (met him in 1993) he always sits on the loo even to just have a wee, since he used to fairly often have postural even more hypotension and fall over in the bathroom years ago.

I have to taken medication due to low blood pressure. Lowest I ever had was 60/40 and the paramedics called me the walking dead 😱 They couldn't understand how I could stand up let alone walk. A firm hand was put on my shoulders with a firm no you are not going upstairs when I attempted the stairs 😎 Hospital Dr said if I hadn't been treated when I was I would have been dead within 20mins. Oh the wonders of having Addison's disease.
