Hi, can anyone help me with this, please?

I know the calorie and carb content of dry white wine, and this seems to be something I can drink without experiencing any high glucose readings. However, I'm keen to cut down the number of alcohol units I drink and have found a couple of low alcohol white wines.

Does anyone know if these are still low carb - or does the sugar content go up because it isn't turned in to alcohol?

the brew process is the same - it goes through an extra process to remove the alcohol. http://www.frewines.com/fre-info/our-process

however it is not totally alcohol free. most bottles still carry up to 1%. carbs and sugar remain the same

It depends. For instance a swwet sparkling wine has a low alchool percentage because the fermetation is stopped and the sugars aren't fully converted.
For instace Asti Spumante DOCG has a 7% alchool content, but the sugar content of the grapes if left to full fermentation goes to 12% mnimum.
