I had my diabetes review today and was really shocked to find my HbA1c has climbed again to 7.7 (I think equates to 59). This is the highest I have ever had and am really unhappy with it.
I realise the last 12 months have been stressful and that has played a part, but I really feel that I need to do something to regain control. Admittedly I have not recorded any blood readings since March, although am still testing regularly, and have not been doing anything about highs, just riding them out. No ketone checking either.
My nurse feels it is time I seriously considered a pump and is happy to put me in touch with the right people but I don't feel that now is a good time, going through everything with my little one at the moment. Maybe once we know more on that score and the stress settles down a bit it would be worth consideration.
Thoughts anyone? Would you consider a pump now if you were me? I'm still unsure about wearing one tbh, daft I know.
