this is pure liquid glucose, hypostop isnt pure it has other things added . i just wondered if it would be worth buying a jar just in case

It might be difficult to measure an appropriate treatment dose with it, given its concentration.
Liquid Glucose is all what hypostop or hypogel is..
So yep could be used as an hypo treatment..
This is also what they give you when they are doing a GTT, and boy is that stuff sweet..
When I had one done years ago (it did come back diabetic and straight into hosptial as soon as my GP got the result) I thought I had a sweet tooth, the blood person kept her supply in the fridge to lessen the impact on the taste but, but still halfway through the measure you felt very very quicy indeed...
