So sorry to hear your latest news Susan. I too live with the dreaded Big C and it is always a worrying time pre check up. My recent one last month showed my tumour is stable so I finally have one whole year with no growth. It is hard not to stress over these things but try to take it one day at a time and look after yourself as best you can each day. All the best for your surgery and here's to a quick problem free recovery.

Never had an MRI before. Was warned it was noisy, but 45 minutes of being attacked by a humungous demented bee😱 and shaken by a ginormous woodpecker at work😱😱 was not much fun. Glad it's over. Now I'm chasing up the other things that should be being done.

I fell asleep during the last MRI - brain and spine, so it took a while. It's being horizontal that does it, notwithstanding the noise. I trust yours will confirm the consultants opinion, and he will be sharpening the tools on the whetstone ready for the next bit of your insides to disappear.

I must have been lucky as music was offered through headphones cushions were placed so I was comfy so comfy in fact I fell asleep. 🙂

I'm meant to be having a fasting blood test at this very moment, but diabetes decided to step in at 12.30 this morning with a hypo😡 so I'm now fasting for a couple more hours - that bacon and egg will taste very good when I'm allowed to eat it!

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the claustrophobia in the MRI scanner. The noise I could tolerate but my MRI had to be abandoned as I nearly had a heart attack being in a confined space. My b/p was off the scale! 😱
