Just been diagnosed with type 2. Feeling very overwelmed and not sure where to start. Looking forward reading the forums to guide me through this

Hi. Welcome to the forum.

It's natural to feel overwhelmed when first diagnosed but things will make sense with time.

To start, is focus mainly on reducing carbs and sugars. How you do that depends on each individual and the best way to find that out is to test your blood sugar levels 2 hours after meals to see the impact the meal has had.

It might be helpful to keep a good diary for a week and then see where you can reduce the sugar and carbs then work on refining things over time.

We've got some more info on the main site that I've linked below which may be of use.
