What are 'beach shoes' Mark?
What are 'beach shoes' Mark?
Like many on here I love to go barefoot. I still do at home - and when walking on a sandy beach in Spain a couple of weeks ago I was barefoot then too as we were right next to the sea!
@kentish maid have you thought about Birkenstocks? They do a variety of different styles, don't flip and flop if you do choose that style, and I've always found them to be like walking on a cloud 🙂
Lastly, a joke I love - I apologise in advance.
A woman with two left feet walks into a shop and asks...
..."have you got any flip-flips?"

I love my Birkenstocks, in fact I have then on today, I personally don’t like going barefoot and it’s nothing to do with being diabetic. My feet are classed as being at low risk so I will walk on the beach barefoot at times. But if I thought there was any risk I definitely wouldn’t. But nothing will stop me wearing my Birkenstocks! Try Amazon for them, quite a good price. There are about £50 in the shops. Worth every penny.Love the joke
Had a quick look online at Birkenstocks, put me a bit in mind of the Scholl sandals I use to wear many years ago. Will keep my eyes open for them, thank you
We had to buy beach shoes on holiday in Santorini as the “ beach” is made of volcanic rock and is painful on your feet as well as being hot. Great for that and going into the sea but I found them very sweaty!😱What are 'beach shoes' Mark?
They tend to be lightweight neoprene shoes, with a rubber sole, allowing more comfortable walking on the pebbles or whatever, but being neoprene dry in no time at all after being in water.
