Inspirational Quotes

@Felinia Fancy that, same here! :D
Then on return to school in September we wore a blazer (with pocket school badge) gymslip, check blouse, (the colour of the house we were in) tie, black hat (or beret) with school badge on, with elastic under the chin to keep hat on head! Black mackintosh with elastic in the sleeves from one arm to the next, on which our gloves were attached, black shoes and knee high socks and Oh a leather satchel. Felt like a dogs dinner with all that on!!

My friend's husband dropped something on the cistern of the loo in their bathroom and rather than telling the truth, said he'd tripped over the cat - and there was an extra Q on the claim form asking 'What steps have you taken to avoid a recurrence in the future?' stated 'Kicked the cat'. Doubly unfair on their lovely cat - poor thing would have been upset enough when someone tripped over it, let alone the noise of porcelain smashing and - OMG!!!! WATER!!!!

Cos cats do do that, every time, everyone knows that! Mind you - our grandson used to do it just after he started walking, but at least he didn't twist round our ankles for fuss in the process of following me and watching me sat on the loo, cos he was fine going UP stairs alone but still a bit unsure about getting down em again!
