Coeliac disease. I decided to go and see my GP and ask if the biopsy results are back and he told me the biopsy showed that I do have Coeliac D with inflamation. I really thought my GP would say it was negative, but no. Anyway,on a positive note, I now at least have a diagnosis and I should get an appointment to see a mangement Coeliac nurse at the clinic, I hope sooner rather than later, as the center has shown to be a little lax.
I'm not sure about what to do now as my GP said I would get gluten free products on perscription, but my GP didn't start me off on any of these products, so unsure whether to buy some myself or just wait, but he did say the list can be as long as a Tesco shopping list!
So I will try to find out more about the disease and be in control of the changes that will happen.
With best wishes
