As many of you will be aware, my levels with exercise have been a joke.

Last night I tested pre-Body Combat (7pm) and was 12.4 - injected 2u of insulin so had some active in me. Went to the class (7.30pm) and had a couple of swigs of Lucozade before starting.

Finished workout at 5.2. (8.30pm)
Walked home, tested pre dinner - 4.8 (8.45pm)
Had 2 crumpets (35g) - injected 3u instead of suggested 4.5
10.40pm - 7.6
Before bed (11.15pm) - 8.2

1am test (the time I woke to a hypo the night before) - 9.1

6.30am this morning - 8.1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The post won't let me do enough smilies about how happy I am!!! (and I know this doesn't mean it will be the same every time! but just this once was great to get!!)

Thank you to everyone who has helped with advice and listened to me winge on and on. I like to think that now with an hour long high intensity class, I now know what I need to do. The actual gym is still to be conquered, but one thing at a time! 🙂

Wahoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Brilliant new, I'd be pleased with that too.

Well done 🙂

Katie, that makes me very happy too!!! I can understand how terribly frustrating it has been for you, wanting to exercise but then having all those ups and downs. Once you get an idea of what is going on it becomes much easier to tackle in the future. You won't always get it right (thanks to the Diabetes Fairy!), but you will be able to refine things and become much more confident.

Well done! Brilliant result! :D:D

Great results Katie! Well done for persevering with your tests/experimentation :D

Great to hear Katie well done for sticking with it your percerference had paid off x

That's brilliant news😉

I bet you felt better this morning waking up to a good level. I hope the next time is as sucessful x

Well done, Katie 🙂

Vicki 🙂
