Went for a winter woodland walk today with Susie and OH. BG crashed so fast that cgm said 7.8 when I had some of the worse hypo symptoms for a long time. There was nowhere to sit down in the muddy wood and OH had visions of calling aN ambulance and running to a house a mile away to get help. Not sure what he planned to do with Susie.
Fortunately the lucozade worked before my legs buckled, but it was close😱 but I can still say, luckily, that I haven't collapsed from a hypo for nearly 30 years. Ps think the speed of the hypo was a correction dose from 3 hours previously (BG was 9.9 at start of walk) plus the diabetes fairy getting excited about Christmas
