Horticulture.

I just needed a snack for tea today so I made some cheese and onion toasties using an onion from the garden. It was really tasty, probably as it was so fresh. The onions were grown from onion sets which are like the gardening equivalent of microwaving a ready meal. Plant small onions, wait for them to get bigger, then dig them up again.

I always use sets as I have no success with the seeds even for spring onions so use for them as well and pull when the right size for a spring onion./
