Have you seen the scarves some knitters do, with different colours representing the temp each day, or amount of rain fall? I've seen embroidery versions too. I get this would translate to weaving your blood sugars too?Thanks for posting your story @AlicePalace . Keep sharing.
I have taken up new hobbies since I retired, and my main one is weaving. I like the planning and designing, and then the whole process of setting up my loom and seeing how the design develops. I am currently working on a set of table napkins as a wedding present. A while ago I did a piece which was based on my diabetes called Just Managing (as best I can). It showed my average glucose levels over a day, with labels (written on card cut from the Libre boxes) attached below the weaving showing the reasons for the BG levels. The weaving was done using the tubing from various insulin pumps. Diabetes can be represented in many different ways.
