Hi newly diagnosed with type 2 and looking on management and some good recipes. Thank you

Hi @lozb, I've responded to your question on sugars on your other thread. Regarding meals, I eat exactly the same as the rest of the family, I just either cut out, or have a smaller portion of, carbs. So with a chilli or a curry or casserole, I'll just swap rice for green leafy veg. It sounds a bit weird to start with, but now I much prefer chilli and broccoli to chilli and rice!
For snacks I nibble on cheese or nuts and usually start the day with a large mushroom and cheese omelette...nearly 0 carbs in that.
I'm sure other people will be along soon with other ideas 🙂

Hi Thank you for that, its all trying and adjusting to new things. That's helped tho

Welcome to the forum @lozb

Hope you are able to find a way of eating that suits your needs, and helps you manage your diabetes while remaining enjoyable 🙂

This free downloadable e-book has some good general pointers

Though some members here would struggle a little with the suggested recipes.

It’s all about finding your own tolerance to carbohydrates, how your body reacts to things, and an approach to eating that works for you as an individual 🙂
