My NovoRapid penjectors (I have 2 stainless steel, one for use at home & the other in my bumbag for use outside) are very old and the dosage figures have become rather indistinct, so I was interested to read in the latest issue of Balance, about the NovoPen 5 in blue or silver.
If my GP is willing to prescribe two NovoPen 5's, that will resolve two issues I have - at 66 years of age with severe myopia & early-stage cataracts, combined with a less than perfect memory,
I will be able to clearly see my dial-up dose and check whether or not I had it afterwards.
Has anyone used the NovoPen 5 and what is your experience so far - any upsides or downsides? Thank you in anticipation.
