Hi @CommiePinkoQueerEnby sorry to read that you haven't been given the help and support that you need, is there a trusted friend or family member that could attend the appointment with you, and push for the answers to your questions?
If not try as @42istheanswer and write your questions on a piece of paper, hope you get the answers you require
I'm going to bring my partner next time, and hope that he can help!

I agree with all the above strong responses. But don't just write your questions down for next time. Send an email to your GP Practice mark the top for the attention of the Nurse AND the Practice Manager. I understand an earlier comment that because of your severe anxiety you son't want to push!Politely make the various points above:
You need to know and are entitled to know your HBA1C. You asked and were not told.
You are on Gliclazide and should be provided with BG test capability; you are already experiencing hypo symptoms.
Plus any other questions.
Ask for an email acknowledgement of your email.

Do this as soon as possible, don't leave it until later; demonstrate that you want to do what is appropriate for managing your D - but you do need some help and guidance with this new, potentially life-changing diagnosis.

Thank you, I'll do that tonight - I find email easier and yet didn't even think of this!

Hope you get a more positive outcome this time @CommiePinkoQueerEnby

Maybe the nurse was having a particularly horrible day, and wasn’t really themselves :(
