I agree with all the above strong responses. But don't just write your questions down for next time. Send an email to your GP Practice mark the top for the attention of the Nurse AND the Practice Manager. I understand an earlier comment that because of your severe anxiety you son't want to push!Politely make the various points above:
You need to know and are entitled to know your HBA1C. You asked and were not told.
You are on Gliclazide and should be provided with BG test capability; you are already experiencing hypo symptoms.
Plus any other questions.
Ask for an email acknowledgement of your email.
Do this as soon as possible, don't leave it until later; demonstrate that you want to do what is appropriate for managing your D - but you do need some help and guidance with this new, potentially life-changing diagnosis.
