Thank you Leadinglights, I have been looking through a few pieces of info on carbs and I am happy to find that Almond Meal /Flour is something I can use to make a waffle using 28grams using a touch of baking powder to make it lift, together with a medium egg and maybe a splash of water. This will give me 160 Cals: 6grams Carb plus carbs in the egg for the waffle. So that may be a better substitute for Polenta but not quite so tasty 🙂. That may be useful as a breakfast with a bit of protein on top. I think I need an app to establish quickly what the nutrients are in each food item. Will go and search for one if there is one available here that would be great. 🙂
