Having bother

@Kaylz - eBay is fabulous for things like the cotton gloves you might be looking for. I bought a few pairs ages ago to allow me to use cream on my hands at night, sometimes.. In winter my poor hands really suffer.

On a day-to-day basis, I use Sopa and Glory Hand Food which is absolutely excellent for me. It really works (for me) and smells lovely.

Might see if Bruce has time to pop into Boots while he's in the other town tonight, thanks! The crack is redder on the inside and no I completely forgot! We got unexpected visitors last night and by the time they left I was in a rush to get my basal done and get to bed as I was absolutely knackered, will get it done tonight though! xxxx

If you don't have company today, sometimes a wrap just for an hour or two can offer relief - stick a film on, wrap up and enjoy 🙂 hope it heals quickly for you, I know how miserable it can be with your hands! xxxx

Got to prep things for tea in a bit so there's no point doing it just now plus knowing me I'd do it then need the toilet not long after! Haha, not generally up during the night so that's the ideal for me! 🙂 thanks, me too, just so painful to do anything, I've had it before due to my OCD but was even worse back then as I was working as a cleaner at a building site in the middle of December so the weather made them worse too xxxx

K...take care of your hands...they look so sore...open cracked skin...you need to be very careful...don't risk an infection...or making them worse...put some cream on them...then put some latex or rubber gloves on while you prep the tea...your family can wait five minutes or so more...take care of those hands first please.

Oh bubbsie if only it was that easy, but the longer my granddad has to wait the more he looks at his watch tutting and swearing which stresses me out more then I wash my hands more cause of the stress its such a vicious circle x

I have he just says oh aye and then wants me to go and get on, doesn't bother him, when I asked if we could eat later as I don't get anything from 4:30 until after 7 the next morning he said no as he has other things to do xx

I would try be but I cant be doing with all the shouting and the swearing to be honest its just added stress that I don't need xx

He's a great man MOST of the time but he can get so frustrating if things aren't done to his timescale, he's gotten worse too since he started going to bible study and everything, he was never into anything like that before x

Tell him to read why patience is a virtue as listed by Paul in Galatians 5:22-23 as among the fruit of the Spirit. So there's no disputing that the Christian ought to be patient! (And more tolerant!)

Romans 12 also has some good stuff about patience and perseverance.

v17-18 "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."
v16 "Live in harmony with one another."
vv9-10 "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves."
v12 "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."
