For the last three/four months I have worked five or six days a week 14:00 to 22:00 or a bit longer. I found it was better for my control to shift my whole insulin regime/eating pattern by around three hours ? hence my posts in the early hours. I now have a four day weekend and am shifting back to GMT for Saturday/Sunday. The main reason for this is that I have two meals out tomorrow ? a friend?s birthday lunch and a formal dinner in the evening. Lunch is no problem as it is in a local pub and the landlord is more than happy to give me less chunky chips and more veg. I will just have to be careful with the surprise cake that will appear at the end. The evening is more difficult as it is five courses! I might just have to nip out after two or three courses and have a booster shot. If I can wake up in single figures without a hangover on Sunday I will be a happy bunny!
