When I was first diagnosed I had hair loss for a couple of months to the extent of waking up and my pillow was covered in hair each morning. Now thankfully I have a lot (and I mean a lot) of hair because it's really thick so i'm lucky i didn't have bald patches. I was told by my hairdresser that when your Ill your hair does sometimes fall out and not to worry. My blood sugars were really high when I was first diagnosed so I accepted it as part and parcel.
I've noticed the past couple of days that it's happening again and although my blood sugars have been a bit unstable as of late I haven't really had any high blood sugars for a sustanible amount of time. So I am slightly worried because it's coming out in chunks again. Was just wondering if this has happened to any of you and whether this is normal when blood sugars have been a bit all over the place for a period of time?
Thanks for your help in advance
