Group 7-day waking average?

A crocheted bag @freesia - sounds fab. I'd love to see a pic of it (no pressure 😉).
We'll see how it turns out  . Its two different sets of granny squares

Morning all. A happy 5.2 for me today, and it's kinda drizzling outside...

Have a great day folks, and stay safe....

Good morning folks. Had a rare lie in this morning. 5.9 is a good start to the day.

Congratulations on your HS @Barrowman
How is your grandson doing after his fall @Homer ?
@eggyg you have been properly munched. I hope the antibiotics work. The itching must be driving you mad
Welcome to this thread @OldBuzzard

Off to a guided walk with some friends later this morning. The Pros and Cons of Horncastle. It's all about the prostitutes and convicts of Horncastle's seedier areas in days gone by. Looking forward to it. Plus we will have coffee and cake afterwards.

Have a good Wednesday and keep safe.

4.7 this morning at long last its wallpapering day, hubby put lining paper up yesterday, so today he will finish the walls that need wallpaper, some tiling on the cooker wall which am hoping he will be able to start as well, just got to nip out for something for dinner tonight then its back to work

Morning all - grey old day but no wind.

4.5 when an alarm telling me the pump was running out of insulin went off. Swapped the reservoir out and went back to sleep. 6.0 now, though I've been awake ages. Off to the Chiropractor this afternoon then meeting friends late afternoon. Will liberate "one I made earlier" out of the freezer for dinner. J has just told me he's found a cottage pie that will do us nicely.

All this chat about crocheting reminds me... long ago when I was working as an air stewardess I bought a beautiful yellow crocheted bikini in a shop on Bondi beach. I had an auntie who was an avid crocheter, so I bought some white cotton and asked if she could copy it. She did... and I proudly wore it for the first time in the Caribbean. It was much admired until I went into the sea... when it stretched and stretched leaving me practically naked and very very embarrassed!

Hope your grandson is OK @Homer.... you too @eggyg. Congrats to @Barrowman

I too have been wondering about @MartinA but he usually says when he goes on holiday

Have a lovely day all...

I was stuck on high BS of 11.9 since about 07:45 & & got distracted so, basal went in a bit late just now & it’s come down to 12:48 BS 9.2 with a gentle slope! A very slow drift of about 2mmol in 5 hours so, basal definitely needed to come down! Already stuck yesterday’s dose in the right thigh & that's the side I stick the lesser dose in so, 49 just went in there again. Then, 50 on the left thigh tomorrow! See how that goes?

Congratulations!

6.9 at around dawn and a difficult morning of a frantic shower & a late support. We managed a walk on a 'Occasional Sunny Intervals' day, it was quite warm and very little breeze. Managed to get some wine and some squash from the shop on our way, getting my 20 minute walk in. I even remembered to get my Lady a surprise - 4 big bars of chocolate!

My Lady has been largely calm thus far after a successful night at Aglow with her friends, and a few surprising ones. She got in late and I was preparing to get services involved in find her as I had the last contact six hour earlier! As I was thinking this - she arrived back with a joyful 'I'm back' call.

I've been largely Ok Today, but was badly yesterday morning as my Lady informed me saying 'Take a pill - you're having an episode!', as usual she was right catching it before I've noticed. But today I'm fine.

Have a good day everyone and stay safe.

You're right @eggyg and @PattiEvans, we're off to Fowey this weekend for our usual August Bank Holiday week in Cornwall. My wife and I are travelling Friday, stopping off at Clarkes Village in Street for lunch and some shopping, then staying overnight just outside Exeter before pushing on to Fowey on Saturday. Our boys and our eldest's girlfriend are travelling Saturday and by the time they get there we'll be in our holiday let and waiting for a Sainsbury's delivery. Highlight of the weekend, as always, will be the World Smite Championships in St Neot.

Not posted for a couple of weeks as I've been on a bit of a downer but beginning to feel a bit more positive about things these last couple of days. I have been looking in, though.

Congratulations @ Barrowman on your HS today.

5.4 this morning.

Enjoy what's left of your day.

Morning a 6 from me and just finished watching on Breakfast TV about a NICE overhaul in way T2 Diabetes is treated with more personalised treatments to reduce deaths and complications.
Can't come soon enough. I was just having a "conversational moan" (as opposed to a rant) with MIL today about how my surgery seem to be directing me down the "ignore managing your diabetes and just take more drugs like a good girl" route.
Nice short day in St Helens/Haydock yesterday and home early and managed to keep BG in a better range but then had the Cheese and Onion Pie which I love.
Our trip to the Northwest has been postponed until next year. We're hoping to visit a chippy in Wigan to try "Smack barm pea wet"

10.6 today, followed by 10.3 after and hour and a half. Not eating doesn't bring it down significantly, but I'm not yet convinced eating does either. The experiment continues...

Congrats on the HS @Barrowman.

@PattiEvans i did chuckle when i read about the bikini! How embarrassing. I hope the visit to the chiropractor went ok and you enjoy meeting your friends.

@Martin.A sorry you've not been feeling great about things. Have a safe journey and enjoy your holiday.

Grandson is much better, give him a fright, but still didn’t find out why he fainted, thanks for asking.
