Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all, 5.1 here, so close!
I’m attending a funeral today, and it’s going to be scorchio. Had to cobble together something blackish and smartish from my not very extensive wardrobe. Funerals are normally winter events, and I have a nice thick black coat for the occasion, not today, though!. (Funeral is for an elderly cousin who had a lot of health and mobility problems latterly, so not a sad occasion, but a chance to catch up with wider family.)

It was quite shocking actually because it is a true story about the murder of a 14 year old in Canada by her peers. Riley Keogh is in it (Elvis's granddaughter).

Have a good day everyone.
Sounds good will watch this weekend cheers for that
Gail

Good morning 7.3 today, wish it was the weekend but no one more day at work
it will be a most welcome lay for me tomorrow

Thank a crunchy it’s almost the weekend

6.1

Today will be spent mainly in contact with Pharmulous and others and trying to stockpile a bundle of Mounjaro pens to get me through titrating down from 15mg to 5mg. Why? Well thanks to Trump the price is going up from 1st September by approximately 170%. I was entering maintenance anyway and had planned to move down in strength and hopefully settle on a 5 or 7.5mg dose but I was ok if I needed to maintain at 15 as well. With the huge price increase that’s not really something I’ll want to do as finding £380/month is a totally different thing to spending £150 a month.

I’ll distract myself by watching the latest episode of Destination X, a programme I actually quite enjoy. The contestants do seem a little clueless but gameplay is starting to come out and that’s interesting to watch.
There’s an American version that was filmed at the same time and is also in Europe. Apparently they display the knowledge of European geography and history that we’d expect random Americans to have. Can’t wait!

A 6.3 for me today. 🙂
A bit cooler than of late.

@goodybags A Very Happy Birthday!

Yum, yum jelly & ice cream! Did I ever tell you I love jelly as it’s one of those foods that make me happy! Especially since I’ve been on the normal with sugar: was on the sugar free sachets with artificial sweeteners for YEARS; the SF tasted a bit strange as all artificial sweeteners do & didn’t set as properly nor was it stable as it turned back to liquid pretty quickly! 😛:D
By adding frozen berries and using a quarter less water it seems to set fine and doesn't taste too much of the artificial sweeteners.
The lemon and lime one with mandarin oranges (in juice) is really refreshing.

How about for a bit of fun if people who test in the mornings post their waking levels? I think it would be interesting to see what the average works out at after a week 🙂

I'll start with mine - I was 6.0 when I woke up this morning 🙂

(please don't let me be the only person to enter one! 😉)
4.7 this morning and 7 day average unflickering at 5.7. It was 6.3 at bedtime and had a slice of toast as told to go to bed on 8 or 9 about 20 years ago. Folklore or what ?

5.6 for me today.

I was hot overnight too @MikeyBikey - be glad when this over-warm continental air moves on. I’m enjoying the warm and dry days, but the evenings and overnights are just a little too hot!

7.2 as I got up at 7.30am. I noticed it was nearer 5 at about 5am. Odd how the numbers seem to coincide.

A moan. We use L’Or aluminium pods in our Nespresso machine. Good coffee and convenient. For the last three years I’ve got Podback recycle bags and dropped them off at a local shop to be returned by Evri. Then suddenly when the bag was full I went to print out the label from their website. Not possible, the link has disappeared. When I enquired by email how to print off a “drop off” label I was told that they had discontinued that service and “for customers convenience” had a contract with Asda and some Morrisons to accept bags and print labels. They had dropped the Evri drop offs. My nearest Asda is a long bus ride 3 miles away. Progress? Convenience?

Sorry about that. Had to get it off my chest … I’ve bought a £9.95 Dualit thingy which squashes the pods and empties the coffee. The squashed pods can then be recycled with everything else. Hooray, hope it works!

Morning all. A happy 5.3 for me on another bright sunny day...

Have a great day folks and keep cool. 😎

Good morning, 5.3 this morning. Had a bit of a stinky night with low blood sugar and sensors failing and new ones taking hours to update :(

Having a very quiet morning and then off to a meet up in the park with 7yo later. Hopefully will finish painting tonight after a few days' hiatus.

Picture of 7yo's "Monet-inspired" sailboat painting she did yesterday:

Sunny morning for a change.

6.8. No idea why. I'm usually in the 5s. We've been invited to a friend's for lunch and early evening meeting other friends in the local.

Hhhmmmm high this morning on waking, i had correction with breakfast and spent 2 hours cleaning the windows inside and out. Its only come down to 9.2!!

7.1 at 0711, and 8.4 at Brekkas. Cooler this morning.

We went to the cenotaph to mark the 80th anniversary of VJ day. A fairly good turnout and very moving. We had a coffee at Costas afterwards, before walking past the food stalls down the prom.
A diet coke in Embargo's. The breeze was really cool on the front but by the time I got home, got really warm, and even hotter inside!
Not a bad morning/lunchtime we all had.

Going to potter about this afternoon while my Lady is out.

We didn't see R last night, apparently it's tonight that she makes an appearance.

Have a good relaxing day folks.

5.7 this morning, sat waiting for IKEA to collect the unwanted items from the kitchen collection its up to 6pm I hate having to wait in also should have a delivery with the last 2 glass doors from DPD but no update on that, I just hope they arrive today or it means waiting in again tomorrow,I ended up buying a new vertical designer radiator that I wasn't that bothered but my daughter badgered me into it so I caved in, to be fair it was a bargain there very expensive, but she found one on Facebook market place for £100 with all the fittings brand new and still in the box, this kitchen has turned out to be very expensive, all the little things soon mount up, daughter said to me last night you should buy something for yourself im sure grandad would have wanted you to,at the end of the day hubby has got his dream Kitchen with everything he wanted so im happy, on the plus side it looks like we can go on holiday now as he has had no issues with the oral treatment, he is almost 3 week in now, the hospital are calling him on Tuesday to check on him, and once they issue another months worth of tablets, I will be looking for a holiday in the UK.

It works! No electricity. Simple small mechanical gadget. Highly recommended! Dualit EcoPress. Separates coffee for the food recycle box and the empty aluminium pod casing goes into the general recycling. Nick
