Group 7-day waking average?

good morning 5.9 today

Thanking everyone for your kind Birthday wishes yesterday :thankyou:
another glorious summers day today, it looks like it’s going to be a few degrees cooler

have a Terrific Thursday everyone 😎

A 6.3 for me today. 🙂

Dez

8.2 this morning. Can’t blame overdoing glucose as I had no hypos last night. My BS was quite low at 9.30am and so I had a small bowl of cornflakes. So that’s to blame, not my own foolishness and greed of course.

Dentist and hygienist today. Ughh.

Nick

Morning all. 7.5 this AM which I’ve no idea about as it couldn’t be either the cocktails or the ice cream I had last night o_O

Today’s a rare kind of day for me as I’ve got theatre later. This is Born with Teeth starring Ncuti Gatwa and is about Shakespeare and Marlow I think. It’s only the second night of previews and neither me nor my friend are expecting much tbh.

How about for a bit of fun if people who test in the mornings post their waking levels? I think it would be interesting to see what the average works out at after a week 🙂

I'll start with mine - I was 6.0 when I woke up this morning 🙂

(please don't let me be the only person to enter one! 😉)
7.8 this morning and 7 day average at 5.7. Was 4.1 late yesterday evening and over compensated with a Crisp sandwich !

Morning all and it's another miserable grey one - please you lot who are sick of the heat, send us some down here!

6.0 this morning. Apparently I've had a unicorn and apparently I have been 95% TIR for the last week. No thanks to me, but thanks to CamAPS. Good thing whilst I am battling all the other annoyances!

Nothing much on today but I'll make an effort and cook dinner, something I've not done for ages.

Enjoy your day everyone! I'm off to watch more Masterchef (I think there is one more episode I can catch.

I've just reported my sensor to Abbott as it was reading very low (at least 2mm below FP) plus it was itching like mad. So I just said it had fallen off, which it did with a bit of help from my fingernail. When I took it off the filament was bent at a 90 degree angle, which I guess explains the problems I was having.

They are sending a new one 🙂

Afternoon all. It was a 4.4 for me earlier this morning....

Good afternoon fine forum folks. 8.1 again this morning. I just couldn't keep cool.yesterday or last night despite the fans going full blast. Not expecting a good hba1c result from my blood test tomorrow as I have been running high for several weeks. Just hope it's low enough for the cataract surgery to go ahead a week Saturday.

Other than that we have been pottering in the garden. The last of the pears will be done this afternoon. We need more sugar to make another batch of greengage wine. Back indoors again till it cools down later. I will catch up with the housework after lunch.
I will happily send you our hot humid weather @eggyg. There is still plenty left until tomorrow night.

Enjoy your Thursday everyone and keep hydrated if you are sharing our hot sunny weather.
As my old granny used to say:-
Be good, if you can't be good be careful. If you can't be careful, don't get caught out. 😱

13:04 BS 7.3. Second awakening!

That’s borderline low with another 1.5 active NR to go after I ate breakfast after tesco delivery earlier. Before that it was borderline ok & could be a very, very slow drift down & was considering 49 basal anyway so, stuck that in & can go back up to 50 if needed.

Tried the longer needle in the right thigh & it hurt AND it bled quite a bit so, don’t fancy that in my leaner thighs, not THAT lean really but, it’s certainly leaner than my stomach! So, give that another go on the left thigh tomorrow?

I was thinking could I have a box of each needles & use the longer for NR & the shorter for Tresiba?

Edited to add a minute later:-

It turns out that my instinct is right & my BS was too low & now at 13:51 BS 5.4 with another hour of active NR to go so, glad I reduced basal a bit & maybe needed the other bit for 48? But, 49 in now & it’s better than 50!

Need to eat now to head off a hypo but, only a little bit, thank goodness as I’m still feeling a bit full from breakfast earlier, naybe because I fell asleep straight after!

Right! Signing off for biscuit!

Just seeing Ncuti Gatwa would be enough for me! He’s very cute. Don’t think I’m his type though!

Afternoon, 5.6 for me earlier.
I've spent the morning colouring with 7yo and now waiting for her to finish her art class.
It's absolutely beautiful here so might go for a wander on the beach afterwards. Here is a picture of one of her prints from the art activity yesterday. Great fun and I got to join in too! Highly recommend the Russel Cotes museum in Bournemouth if anyone is close.

You might not be

Last night was good.
I don’t watch it until will into the finals these days. There’s just far far too many heats.

Is anyone else watching Destination X, if you are what do you make of it? Some of the contestants seem a bit dim, or maybe I should say ill-informed.
