Group 7-day waking average?

Lidl do their own minis as well. Same anout of carbs i think. Boxes of 12 either all the same flavour (milk chocolate) or a mix of milk, plain, almond and white. Very nice!
We get those all the time, I particularly like the white choc and almond ones! 13g carb each.

Good afternoon all - another cool grey afternoon.

6.3 this morning. Lost a day yesterday, was just about dressed at 11:30 when I went into a cupboard to get something and as I turned to come out my vision went all peculiar, double and all over the place and I stumbled. It didn't go back to normal so after a while I rang 111 who rang an ambulance and I ended up at the local hospital where they did an ECG and a CT scan and at 6pm announced that I hadn't had a TIA (which I didn't think I had ) and they couldn't find anything wrong so they sent me home. My eyesight continues to go peculiar from time to time and we think it might be UV glare from the front windows. At least I have a proper eye test on 19th of this month. Who knows, but on top of everything else it's rather worrying.

House is beginning to resemble a florists from all the lovely neighbours and firends who are bringing me flowers, which is really lovely.

Happy Birthday to @goodybags

Congrats to @ColinUK on your HS

Have a good one all

7.8 Before the jump with DP, eventually coming to rest at 9.7 at Brekkas.

Been a busy day with cleaning, sweeping and mopping up the house. Finished at gone 3pm.

The final bill from the builder is just shy of 25K, not as bad as I estimated.

Happy Birthday @goodybags hope you're having a fantastic day.

Congratulations @ColinUK on your HS.

Have a good afternoon everyone, remember sun cream and stay safe.

Yes i like them all though my least favourite is the white chocolate

First on parade this morning, just missed out with a 5.3 🙂
Took the dog to the beach yesterday evening, the tide was out but she had a lovely time splashing about and chasing seagulls, and didn't want to get in the car to come home!
Stay cool today everyone.

Morning all. 5.6.

Up early with a splitting headache, again. I took painkillers at 2.30 and the pain wasn't as intense but didn't get rid of it completely. It's most probably because I'm annoyed. I had a long awaited telephone appointment with the gastroenterologist on the 28th of this month. I got a text on Saturday telling me it was cancelled and they'd be in touch. Got a letter yesterday with a new, in person, appointment for 19th September. I'm on holiday so called to rearrange, no appointments, so I have to go back on the waiting list! They cancelled the original one! Raging! I'm also waiting for an appointment for the colorectal surgeon, they sent me a choose and book letter in June, no appointments, they'll be in touch by 23rd August! What is the point?

Rant over. Busy day today, Tesco and butcher shop, the farmers' daughters are coming tomorrow for two nights so need to stock up, and bake, I stripped their beds yesterday so they need made up. I may go into town as my favourite, local, author has a new book out and he's in Waterstones signing them from 11, I usually go to the launch night but I missed out on tickets. he's very popular, internationally as well as here. I will see if I've got time.

Have a good day, not quite as hot today. Thank goodness.

06:20 BS 5.1 🙂 I just missed a HS too; on the other side! :D

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

Hopefully, that was the last night of staying up & extra eating to head off hypos: I ate 2 more snacks after eating; despite dialling back the NR so, only got about 3 hours of sleep!

But, I ended up using all my injections yesterday with the longer needles except the basal in my thigh & they were easy, smooth & completely painless: it just seems that I hit a nerve the first time; that can & has happened before with the other needles! I would say these longer needles are easier to use & I don’t feel the pressure when pushing in the insulin. But, I’m still a bit hesitant about using them in my thighs but, will give that go later today?

I suspect that I may need just a bit more basal reduction as I went lower twice after eating dinner quite early ish, really reduced NR to 20, from the usual 44, & STILL going low so, it was after 3am that I felt confident enough to turn in!

I’ll see how this morning’s BS goes before I decide as I SHOULD be levelling off by now? But, yesterday was very hot compared to recent days & actually had to deploy the keeping all the doors open into the hall & using the hall light at night to keep things as cool as possible so, may need a bit less basal: reduced basal twice last summer as well; in the spring around March & then in the summer around July/August? I’m thinking of going down to 48 Tresiba: that’s a territory I’ve never been in before; IF that turns out to be the case? 😱

See how it goes?

Had to get shopping 3 times this week with a combo of patchy supplies for some time now & all the extra eating these past nights! The 3rd lot of shopping in a week coming 9 to 10am this morning! Just waiting for the receipt to come through email to tell me WHAT I’ll ACTUALLY get delivered from what I ordered? I just never know what will be in short supply & sometimes I barely get half of I ordered! It’s annoying! A Frustrated emoji!

Anyway, I’ll watch the BTS Bonus Plus episode of this week’s Great Escape 7 after I eventually saw the main part 2 of the mission, started last week, yesterday as I slept a few times during the day: that’s been my sleeping pattern the last few days; it’s the nights that ai have to stay up to monitor & attend to falling BS!

Morning all. 🙂 5.4 here. I had to prick my finger cos I've got a tetchy G6 sensor. Applied it yesterday, two lows that weren't lows overnight and one again this morning. I hope it settles down asap.

Just watched the Spanish news with my breakfast. There are so many wildfires, all over Spain. So I'm not complaining about the mizzle (mist&drizzle) that we're stuck with. It keeps our fire risk to "moderate" apparently.

Good grief @eggyg - no wonder you've got a headache! I'm fuming for you.

Morning all. 8.4, slightly higher than it has been the last few days. More than likely caused by yesterday afternoons peaks and drops. All was ok until i took mum to the hospital. When we came out i'd dropped to 3.9, too low to drive so we sat and i had dextrose to bring it up. After that it was highs and stopping hypos up to bedtime when i was 4.4 so had a teaspoon of peanut butter.

No hospital visits today, my best friend is picking me up and we're off out. No idea where, it is just good spending time with her.

Have a good day everyone. Its supposed to be a bit cooler today, 26 feeling like 28, still a bit too hot for me but definitely cooler than the 34 yesterday. It feels a bit chilly atm in fact!

Morning and a 6.1 for me and a flattish line after a correction dose before bed.
Had a Welsh Rarebit for Lunch in Powys and not sure if I just underestimated carbs or insulin was not working so well due to heat etc but it took an age to come down from 9-11 which is unusual for me so had to balance that rating/ insulin as no walking as just too hot.
Was a very nice day yesterday though and lovely countryside to view and weather of course.
Dogs do not like heat so fans on all night and up at 5 to take them out but they will be fine and have to take one to Vets to prepare for a dental and then head out across to Chester.
Have a good day all

Morning all. 7.1 for me on a damp morning that looks like it might turn into quite a nice day. I had planned to mow the back 'lawn' ( now closer to being a meadow ) in the afternoon, but that will have to wait as my poor little electric mower would not stand a chance with wet grass.

At weekend I bought mushroom croquettes from M and S [ impulse buy] then ham and cheese for my sister, not seen them before but she cancelled me going round as lots of other things came up. Last night after aquafit class I was hungry and snacked my way through a lot. I'd had 2 before I went to the class. Carbs per croquette fine but I ate too many. Disappointed with 8.5 .
Must try harder. Tempted to take an extra metformin! Reduced from 2 to one but not happy with my numbers.
Lovely sunny day. Thinking of having breakfast out. Cannot find my gym mat not used for years so going into next town to buy one as hoping to go to a pilates class tomorrow. Still feel good that at last check in June told I was now a healthy bmi.

GM to one and all,

5.5 for me on this beautiful morning. Off to work . Wishing you all a happy Thursday.

Morning all!

A mercifully cooler start here, looks like we had a sprinkle of rain overnight.

5.0 for me this morning.

Have a good day everyone!

Good morning everyone a much cooler day here thank goodness. Am going out on Indie today, fancy going out and exploring Watton high street. There's a charity shop that has easy access for me. Have also got some clothing to donate (some with labels on, lost so much weight that they are to big even with the currant craze of baggy clothes) and it's a cause close to my heart, so bonus. I love a good charity shop buy.
BG today is 4.9 and that's with the reduction in insulin amount so am well chuffed.
You all have a good safe happy day. Special extra whishs to anyone on their own or struggling.
Lots of love to all
Gail
