Group 7-day waking average?

A 5.6 for me today. 🙂

Dez

Morning all. Sleepless night, possibly a mix of heat and noisy neighbours but c’est la vie.

6.7

It’s already hot and forecast is for 31 degrees. I might gym but honestly I’m more likely to just stay in today if it’s truly scorchio.

5.3

And feeling slightly sheepish at turning up after a couple of months AWOL (again!)

I have been enjoying checking in with the thread though and seeing what everyone is up to. It's going to be a warm one here too I think. Hope everyone has a good day.

I go AWOL every now and then. I always get a lovely welcome back. Nice place here!

Well! I’m way, way beyond the super zombie state now waiting for the Monday phone queue to subside but, got through just now. Pharmacist not available yet, & they’ll ring me back in the afternoon so, I will try & sleep now?

I told them to call the mobile so, that’ll wake me up, hopefully getting some sleep!

I could still end up waiting 2/3 more days before I get different needles as prescriptions take 2 days but, decided to play it safe, as the lower of basal comes through, & be high as I can’t take anymore nights of going low & having to tend to that! I’m high in the day & going low at night! I’m maybe putting too much pressure, a double entendre there, on myself to put injecting myself perfectly throughout the whole process of sticking in the needle, pushing through the insulin slowly & taking out the needle again to see if it comes out straight; getting obsessed with, & annoyed, when it doesn’t & that doubt & worry in my mind about hiw much went in & what my BS will do?

Anyway, I’m playing it safe & eat dinner with no NR even if I’ve been high all day!

I’m turning in & Tresiba can be delayed a bit when I lowering the dose anyway!

I’m relieved p: it’s getting sorted; I told the receptionist to tell the pharmacist the problem!

Super Duper Zombie Lanny signing off!

Morning

5.9 today, not much planned, hubby got all the holiday washing done and on the line yesterday, but going to be too warm to iron. Will go out with the running group this evening but not sure if we will run or walk depending on the temperature. Maybe do a bit of crotchet as I am crotcheting a shawl but only did one row in Norfolk.

@eggyg - congratulations on your HS

@BobbleHat - welcome back.

Obligatory holiday snaps

Morning all - it was a lovely wall to wall deep blue sky when I woke but it's now uniform grey.

We had a nice lunch out yesterday and then visited some friends who are very elderly and don't get out much. We last saw them when they came to us for lunch in February. Mind you they are away a lot on cruises. When we got home our lovely neighbour came round with a beautiful orchid for me. I adore orchids!

5.3 before I sorted the washing and tidied my pill stash - you have never seen anything like it. I'm currently on 14 different pills and slightly worried about the interactions.

@eggyg when I said we saw 2 episodes of MC I meant we had caught up. Anyway we're rooting for Claire. I'd like someoneone to win who champions European cookery. I liked the lad who'd grown up in a Scottish fish and chip shop, but he's blown it, as has the other promising young chap. When is the next episode?

Off to M&S after lunch as I have a 20% off voucher and J needs new jeans. May also buy something for dinner, though I have the mince in to make Sabrina Ghayour's Pomegranate Molasses and Honey glazed meatballs. I'm finding standing cooking rather exhausting these days. I only seem to have the energy to do one thing a day these days.

I’ve been meaning to ask, what’s a “Len”?

Nick
It’s in honour of Len Goodman so it’s a morning number of 7.0.
If you’ve not seen Strictly then it’ll mean nothing but Len used to have a very specific way of pronouncing “Seven!” when giving scores.

Don't worry about going AWOL I did for two and half years and was welcomed back as if I had never been away

Morning all. A beautiful sunny morning here today, and a happy 5.2 for me to boot, I'm even
Happier now, as I've just received a £50 cheque from the Air Ambulance lottery...

Have a great day everyone. Mine is going well so far.

Morning just 5.0 this morning running late today as we slept in, on the agenda today is a tip run hubby is loading the car now so many cardboard boxes and off cuts of work tops, then we need to get some plaster board then home to start again hubby has to phone IKEA to return unwanted items for the kitchen, daughters boyfriend ordered the kitchen and to say he over ordered is and understatement the cost of the items not needed amounts to £600.

Congrats on your HS @eggyg

6.4 after a low alarm at around 0100 & again and hour later.

A cloudy day here with a temperature similar to that of yesterday, but no breeze. Now if only yet the clouds were to part....

The builder has taken out the cement fireplace, bricked up the gap and rendered over. He's plastering the jobs outstanding in the washhouse, the wall adjacent to the bathroom and the cellar head. I helped manhandle the fireplace to the skip.

The clouds have parted and its getting warmer.

Congratulations @eggyg on your HS.

Welcome back @BobbleHat
