Group 7-day waking average?

Morning all. 🙂 8.1 here. It's official - the Omnipod 5 can't handle DP. Ho hum.

I'm on my own atm. Hubby's in Spain. So, two sweet but bonkers dogs have been added to my 'to do' list. At least it's half term next week!

The house sounds fab @eggyg. So glad they're in at last.

Morning all, 4.3 here. Back to reality. Did 4 loads of washing yesterday, and now there seems to be a huge pile of ironing. I also need to do a huge food shop, I’d run stocks down completely before we went away, due to the co-op having empty shelves, will see if they are doing any better now, otherwise I might have to battle the traffic to the Aldi on the other side of town. One good thing, our co-op is Midcounies, which has separate computer systems to the main national co-op, so although their food supply chain was disrupted by the cyber attack, they didn’t lose any customer details.

07:13 BS 10.7 :( Ah well, I made a mistake & it’s apparent looking at the graphs overnight from yesterday late afternoon from about 6/7pm on after my dinner & went to bed! BS was in the 7’s when I went to bed & stayed flat ish in the 8’s until about 3am & started climbing until I woke! So, I’ll stick basal back up to 52, like I should have yesterday back at midday; stuck in 50 yesterday at 2pm as I still wasn’t sure then!

A Very Good Morning to you all & have a Wonderful Day! 😉

I’ve worked out it was too much NR after breakfast & lunch so, drastically reduced it for dinner & had an inkling by then basal was too little after I stuck in a second day of 50 basal but, wasn’t completely sure! The upshot of it is for some reason, summer heat &/or weight loss, my NR doses all need to go down -8 if in range so, starting at breakfast it’ll be 40, 36 & 36 or possibly 32 for dinner? Of course, today I over target range & think 42 or 44NR for breakfast?

In thinking back & looking over libre notes where I wrote down my weight last year, I reached 90 kilos by the end of last summer & then, put on 4 kilos over the winter due to lack of movement so, I’m weighing about the same now so, basal seems to be the same 51 BUT, NR needs reducing. A hit weird but, my insulin tolerance confused things for a bit as my BS wobbled quite a bit staying up before dropping & I needed to see the graphs over a longer period to see the bolus effects from my meal hills & the basal effects overnight! It’s been a bit strange the last few days to a week now & I put it down at first to the surprise cycle!

Well, anyway that’s what I think & have a plan in mind: see it it works; change it if it goes out the window?:thankyou:

Oh! Just thought of something! I’ll get awfully confused about which thighs to stick what basal dose in now: it was the left thigh yesterday & should have been 52 but, I stuck in 50; I’ll stick it in the left again today for 52 & back to the right for 50 tomorrow! o_O It felt a bit strange yesterday when sticking in basal & I DID think about sticking it in my right thigh again for 2 days in a row but, thought if it’s staying at 50 I don’t to need to distinguish WHICH thighs for what dose!

Ohhh! Is it any wonder I confuse myself & you lovely lot are probably scratching your heads as well? >>😉😉 o_O:rofl:

Good morning all, another sunny day. Going out on Indie today just to Lidl and back. Fancy a salad for tea and some walnuts might just hop into my basket whoops. No chocolate no no way i tell myself.
BG 6.1 again
you all take care

Good morning, a welcome HS today
seems ages since I’ve seen one of them in the morning, it did surprise me as had half a portion of Lamb Curry with some white rice (Thai Jasmine Rice) yesterday evening
yesterday took 3 units of insulin in the morning but none in evening, so was actually wondering what my BS would be today on waking
The only thing that spoils my HS is I’ve woken today and thin’ I’ve got shingles as have the telltale patterned rash on one leg & parts of my body itch like mad (I've had shingles a few times before) sowill message GP in a minute when that service opens at 08am

Had a productive day yesterday my old king sized bed dismantled and a smaller standard double assembled, furniture all rearranged in my bedroom and TV fitted to the opposite wall. after we moved to the bungalow almost 2 years ago, I soon realised that bed was to big for my bedroom,
amongst today’s tasks will be cut up old mattress (it’s memory foam so will cut) and take to tip, framework of bed to disassemble etc.. Mrs @goodybags wants it cut up to burn on chilly evenings in the chimera, I’m not so sure, plus we still have stacks of firewood from the tree she cut down last summer..

Happy Monday everyone

Good morning.6.7 after feeling hungry most of the night - wish I had given in and eaten a fridgeful...
Cold last night and still chilly this c!oudy morning. Planning a quiet day as joints still misbehaving and brace is rubbing skin on knee.
Glad to see @eggyg 's house no longer a box repository and that children have got a forever home. Dont know how she manages her grannie duties - I am exhausted just reading her schedule!
Wishing everyone a good week.

Morning all. 7.1 after a 4u correction overnight because i'd shot to 15!

Morning all a pootling 6.8 for me today.

Excellent bounce-back recovery and a smooth landing @freesia

Congrats on the HS @goodybags

Given the state of my local coops I’d say just head to Aldi. You’ll likely be unable to get everything for a big shop at the coop at the moment as they’re still reeling from their cyber attack. My local ones have erratic supplies. Some deliveries will have X but not Y, some A not B X or Y. Others will be nothing but Y so they run out of everything else.
It must be costing their insurers a fortune.

A 6.1 for me after a disturbed night with a dicky tummy. :( Is there some bug going around?

Morning, 4.4 for me today.

We had a picnic at the beach yesterday and then had fun chasing the waves. It was gloriously hot.
Today I am freezing!
Work today. I'm supposed to be at an IT meeting but have ended up supervising two students instead. Oh well. 4 days til half term!

Congrats on your HS today @Grannylorraine :star:
also think I might’ve overlooked congratulating you on yours yesterday @Pam123 :star:

🙄actually I’ve probably missed a few of the forum posts recently, with everything that happened & being off work recently (that might change by the end of the month) 😉

Well, I chanced the co-op, and survived. They were well stocked with fruit and veg and chilled stuff, which is what I was mainly after, and they sell lovely bread from a local bakery which was unaffected . No dark chocolate, though!!!
Then, irony of ironies, as I drove in, they were just about to close the road I come in on, and set up a preposterous diversion, so I ended up having to drive right through the town anyway. (Chipping Norton is one of those nice market towns which is on a main trunk road that hasn’t been bypassed, the traffic is terrible, heavy lorries, and cars in a hurry to get to their destination, I nearly got wiped out this morning by an oncoming car overtaking a lorry without making sure there wasn’t anything coming the other way first).

4.9 this morning - yay, back to normal for me! I think reducing my evening snacks really helped, so I need to keep strong and break the habit!

Final revision day today before tomorrow morning’s exam. Going to go to a nearish shopping centre with my wife this morning where I will do some revision whilst in Starbucks there as my wife has her nails done. Other than that nothing else planned for today.

Congratulations @goodybags and @Grannylorraine on your HS today, and @Pam123 for your HS yesterday!

@ColinUK - hope you feel better soon.

Take care everyone!

Good morning! 4'6 and another hungry morning, didn't have a proper dinner last night to be fair.

I'm not bolusing for breakfast as I will take an hour long walk to the next town to get to my eye screening. I'm taking my sunglasses and probably will choose the bus for the way back! I am thinking to do my food shop in the other town, but I'm not sure where. They used to have a Lidl next to the bus station but I heard it's been closed.

Date night later and I don't know what to do, I really fancy pizza but is a pain to bolus for and that's not what I want to worry about. Sigh!

Morning all - not anywhere so nice as yesterday, but still a lot of blue sky.

Well, this morning I am sharing the 5.2 step with @goodybags and @Grannylorraine, Congratulations to the two of you. Also to @Pam123 for yesterdays. It would seem that the CamAPS algorithm is learning my needs, which the Omnipod never did!

Yesterday we went to this wonderful garden party in the grounds of a Lutyens house buried deep in the forest near Lamorna Cove. The garden was amazing, not cultivated, but natural landscape of huge rocks, waterfalls and pools plus a huge bluebell wood. I think a good amount was raised for charity. I have a few photos, not on the same level as @eggyg but maybe you will get the idea!

@colin hope you feel better soon. The runs is not a nice thing!
