Group 7-day waking average?

GM everyone

5.0 for me, had my blood test on Friday, to see if Clinical Pharmacolgist was correct, that the drop down to two metformin would definitely increase my Hba1c (sigh) and also if cholestrol lowering drug ezitimbre has done anything for my cholestrol, without the problems to my liver enzymes that happened last year with the statin.

After the blood test, we went away for the weekend where I decided to cut myself some slack and leave the carb counting. I ate stuff I hadn't touched for ages, it was a great weekend. Now back to normal diet and wait for results, then no doubt a conversation with the GP...

Wishing you all a super Monday

Morning a 6.9 for me after a gentle decline overnight after a big carb tea.
Lovely day yesterday with lunch out and time in garden and a lazy evening watching TV.
Another routine start to week across in Oswestry after weekly meeting first off.
Have a great week all.
Mind you have started to stray from my” iron discipline” path with 3 ice creams this week and a slice of toast this morning already.
Only joking and the ice creams and toast was so nice and the only consistency is my inconsistency.

Morning all, 6.6 here.
Just doing the final bits of packing, then off to the airport for the trip home. The wind finally dropped yesterday, and we were able to sit on the balcony and bask in the sun for the first time. It’s been a great week, despite wind and the occasional shower. @eggyg you’d love it, the flora is completely bonkers, everything is out at once, there are nasturtium flowers and morning glory scrambling over every waste piece of ground, Calla lilies and agapanthus flowering by the sides of the roads, but the Camellias are still out in the gardens!

Morning all. 🙂 6.1 here...that’s better.

Yesterday was a no-gardening day - I forced myself to sit outside and read a book all morning. I’m not really a sitting still kind of person, so I spent the afternoon sweeping, doing laundry, lesson planning, walking the dogs...that’s more like it! Lots of birds and insects in the garden, and even a butterfly - we don’t get many, for some reason, so I was very happy to see one.

Morning all. 6.8. Hangover gone! Didn’t stop me doing two hours worth of ironing, I even pulled stuff off the line and got that done! I’ll have to get drunk more often! NOT! It’s not big and it’s not clever folks.😉

Sub zero today, brrr! But more sunshine expected, I think they’re saving up all the rain for the Easter/ my birthday weekend. Not sure what our plans are today, we’re flexible, a walk down to Aldi for some veg and potatoes is the only thing at the moment. I lead such an exciting life at times. 😛

@ColinUK are they real! And were they in the wild or did you go to the zoo? We loved the zoo when we went to Gran Canaria. Please tell me you went to the zoo! 😳
@Robin safe journey home, I’m glad you got a bit of calm in the end. I’m now dreaming of agapanthus growing wild, one of my favourite plants. Sounds amazing.

Have a Happy Monday all.

Morning all. 4.4. Suns out and its going to be a nice day again. I'm off to see mum this morning then after lunch i need to pot my new plants. Have a good day everyone.

5.7 with an immediate rise to 6.3 with FOTF.

Day off today - woohoo!

Eldest heads back to uni later so I will be spending this month's pay taking a starving uni student out to lunch so he can eat a week's worth of meals in one! Joking (mostly).

A 5.4 for me today. 🙂

Morning

5.2 today, no idea how as I feel awful, was in bed all day yesterday and still achy all over, particularly my glands in my neck, only up because I have my blood test this morning and didn’t want to cancel, hubby is home so he can drive me.

@Robin - safe journey home and pleased your enjoyed your holiday.

Looks like we had a mild frost overnight and it's still below fridge temperature outside according to Heidi, our garden thermometer, despite the blue sky and sunshine. 5.3 when I tested just after 7 o'clock.

As usual on a Monday we have 3 WFH (have I ever mentioned that I don't like Mondays) so just as well I have things to do that'll get me out of the house and keep me out of the way. Summer House needs painting and re-roofing so I'll nip over to Bracknell to get some paint from The Range and check out the roofing felt in Wickes.

Our youngest was much better yesterday evening but still not well enough for work today. His next shift is Wednesday so hopefully he'll be OK for that. He's rarely ill - he worked for Sainsbury's for 5 years and the only time he had off sick was when he had Covid, and when he was at secondary school he picked up 100% attendance certificates 3 times, so if he says he's not well he really is not well.

Hope everyone's Monday Blues don't hang around and you have a good start to the week. Congrats @Grannylorraine on your HS and hope you're feeling better soon.

Morning all
went to bed on 6.7 and woke up to 5.5. So I can go lower before i go to bed
have just done shopping online with Mr Tesco whos coming tomorrow 3-4pm. Bless him hope its the man who came last week (Nice eye candy)😎 Not doing a lot today just watching Netflix gangs of london. Talk about violence in first 5 mins
You all have a good happy safe day
love to all
gailxxx

6.3 for me but another very slack washing line trailing in the red overnight and again I woke up and scanned a 3.8 apparently but have no recollection of it and did nothing about it. I did spend most of the night on my sensor side so perhaps I thought it was a compression low, but I don't think it was. The Amitriptyline do make me foggy! Frost here too this morning but looks to be another glorious day in the offing. Hope everyone has a good one!

A bright cold frosty morning today and 8.2 on the BG meter. I think it was the small portion of homemade apple crumble after a lovely roast pork dinner yesterday evening. It was 8.8 before I went to bed last night.
Had a giggle yesterday afternoon watching our friend doing his strong man stuff. Flipping an old tractor tyre over. Took him 2 attempts! The tyre was in the old animal pen area we are clearing. I think the previous owner's pig used to push it about.

Congrats on the HS @Grannylorraine and get well wishes too.

Giving the car a good clean today. We have done several trips to the recycling centre and it's very grubby. Going with friends to see Six at our local cinema tomorrow then off to the Embassy Theatre in Skegness to see Menopause 2 with the same friends. I am designated driver because we can get five ladies comfortably in our car. Not exactly the cultural delights that @ColinUK enjoys, but we are in rural Lincolnshire

Hope your Monday is a good start to the week and sending hugs to those of you not feeling great for whatever reason.

Morning everyone. A super sunny day here, only 7c at the moment. A (just missed it) 5.3 for me earlier. Now where’s my porridge I’m famished.
