Group 7-day waking average?

@goodybags don't ever feel bad about saying how you feel whether its here on the forum or to anyone else. Its good to talk. I know i've shared my worries or concerns on here about different things, but i feel it is a safe space and this forum (in particular this thread) is so supportive. At least you have the GPs support with signing you off. Take care.

Morning all.

5.9

And thank you for your support and friendship all of you

Morning a 7.7 for me and after last nights Chinese and a little too much correction earlier in night I went low and overindulged the food before bed including two crumpets so gradually rose overnight and then settled down and brought TIR back down to 95%.
Nice day yesterday and a good w/ end planned.
Gradually sorting out garden and got someone to pressure wash patio and drive and another one to do some tidying up as my wife loves doing stuff but it is a big area and does need a good sort out after winter.
So spending time in garden.watch rugby and maybe lunch out and preparing for our few days away in Ludlow next week.

Morning all. 5.2 here before breakfast on a frost morning that looks like it might turn into another lovely day.

Have a great day everyone.

Hi all. 5.8 (and an absolutely amazing flatfish, wished I’d taken a screenshot) on this very, very frosty morning. -3! Brrr! Lovely and sunny though.

Visit to granddaughter went well. She seemed in good spirits although she can’t stand up straight at all. Very determined to get back to work albeit hopefully in a different role. She’s got a break booked in three weeks to Amsterdam with a friend for her friend’s 18th birthday. I’m not sure she should go but she doesn’t want to let her friend down. Luckily, it’s a short flight, and she knows she can’t drink alcohol whilst on gabapentin, TBF she hasn’t really developed much of a taste for it. She also has a physio appointment on Tuesday, which is very quick, hopefully they’ll have some exercises she can do. She’s desperate to drive her car but we’ve put our foot down, pardon the pun, I know myself when my back is going through a bad patch driving can really hurt and I have a modern and comfy automatic and only have to push one peddle. She’s got a manual old banger!

Gardening day today for Mr Eggy, he’s building a small raised bed for strawberries, he loves a project. I’m got a cooking day, soup and goulash so far planned, I have a surplus of carrots so might make a carrot cake. I’ll see how the day pans out.

Congratulations @littlevoice359 and @Sharron1 on your HSs.

Have a smashing Saturday.

Good morning! 5-6ish today, depends on weather we trust the first Libre reading.

Speaking of Libre, yesterday evening I went to work and my reader stayed all cosy in the pocket of my robe, at home. I was not pleased when I realised! And it was a rare, crazy busy dinner where I barely had time to do finger pricks, and unfortunately the effects of running around can be similar to my usual hypo symptoms.

I didn't have any active NR on board, so I was less worried, but still did a couple of tests later on when I was feeling weaker. I was on the 5s, so okay. But I needed a snack anyway, and when I asked my boss for 5 minutes to sit down he suggested I go out for fresh air. And honestly, it helped. I might take my snack break outside more often. If smokers get to go out, why shouldn't I?

Finished work around midnight. On the plus side I got a taxi (on the company) and didn't get home much later. I did not sleep well and have some red in my graph.

Morning all, 4.7 here.It stayed above freezing here, just! I went for my usual hack yesterday, and was boiling in the sunshine in the sheltered yard while I waited for everyone else to be ready, then we set off down the track, which crosses a large open field, the sun went in, and there was a keen East wind, and it was perishing.

It's a lovely morning here, all blue sky and sunshine. Still cold, though.

Big surprise yesterday. Met up with my long-lost brother, who I haven't seen or spoken to in 6 years. Although he lives up North he happened to be in the area. He's not had a good few years - a stroke, prostate cancer and - would you Adam and Eve it - he has T2 diabetes. That's our mum, me and him plus our sister's been pre- for a long while. Genetics?

Our lounge is decorated with balloons and banners for our youngest's birthday today. He's celebrating with his mates tonight, and with my wife heading up to Bedford this afternoon (she and her sister have tickets to see Al Murray at Bedford's Corn Exchange this weekend) his birthday meal out won't be until Monday. Restaurant already booked.

Congratulations @littlevoice359 and @Sharron1 on your HSs. I'm joining you:-

Have a good Saturday. I'll be watching the rugby later, hoping Wales can end their horrendous losing streak and finish this year's Six Nations on a high.

Congrats to @littlevoice359 & @Sharron1 & @Martin.A. I missed one by a mile with 4.8. 🙂
Back to the cold weather with -2°C on the outside weather station. 😱

Let's hope, Martin. At least the U20s had a cracking win over England last night, so maybe hope of better things in the future.

Morning all. 4.9. My knees ache this morning. Considering the physio exercises for my heel are supposed to help, they put more pressure on my knees, one is getting really painful. Its the opposite leg to my bad heel which doesn't help. I'm falling apart!

Today it is sunny but really cold. I did everything i needed to yesterday so today i plan to have a play with something i bought this week. I bought a sewing machine! Not an expensive one and i don't plan to make clothes but i've made a few crochet bags and want to line them and at the craft show the other day i bought 2 patchwork and canvas bag kits to have a go at.

Have a good day everyone and congrats to the trio of HSers @littlevoice359, @Sharron1 and @Martin.A

6.3 for me but only because I jabbed a correction about 5am for a 9.

I injected my Levemir and 5.5 units for breakfast and FOTF, but instead of levels staying steady for 20 mins and then coming down they have gone up into the 7s so I have jabbed another 3 units. I have no patience with Fiasp when it doesn't behave as it should! I can always treat myself to a second cup of coffee and a biscuit if it starts to plummet but I am not waiting over an hour for my breakfast.
On a positive note my 7 day TIR is now up to 97% which is a relief because a few weeks ago I was down to my lowest ever result at 74%.... That spell of cold viruses I had through Jan and Feb really made things challenging.
Very frosty here this morning, so hoping my apricot blossoms are OK up against the house wall.

@goodybags Sorry to hear you are struggling at the moment but good to hear your GP has signed you off. Hope you can make it to the walking football today and that helps. Sending (((HUGS)))

Morning all and it's a straight 6.0 here. Bright and sunny but oh so cold!
Congratulations on the HS people this morning, three already. The DF must have visited you all in the night
I've been a bit disabled the last couple of weeks after digging up a large shrub in the garden using mattock, fork and spade (not all at the same time) I ended up doing something to my back and getting shooting sciatica pains down my left hip and leg.
Finally caved and went to the osteopath on Thursday and after a rather painful adjustment it is quite a bit better. I have to go back next week though 😱 for the amount it's cost me in osteopath treatment I could have paid a strong young man to do the digging for me!

Hope you all have a great day!

Let's hope, Martin. At least the U20s had a cracking win over England last night, so maybe hope of better things in the future.
And there's no better high than beating England in Cardiff.

7.9 for me this morning. The grass was still frosted when I let the chickens out. The cold doesn't seem to bother them. I think they are happier now all the mud has dried out.
They also have several wheelbarrow loads of woodchips and a few old tree stumps to play with after yesterday's gardening session.
Working in the polytunnel this morning then off to the recycling centre again. Another 8 trugs of brambles and other assorted garden rubbish including some old stock fencing.

Congratulations to @littlevoice359 , @@Sharron1 and @MartinA on your HS. I think that step might have to be a small staircase if we have anymore stars today.:starstruck:

Enjoy the rugby for those of you who like watching 15 hooligans creating mayhem on the pitch (me included).
Have a great weekend everyone :D
