You're not being silly - I'd be crawling up the curtains too - but it WILL all go well, you'll be home soonest and will be getting better after that. Now look into my eyes and say "I shall be fine, Faith".......Well ? 😉

I shall be fine Faith, I shall be fine Faith

Hi Klocky,

Take today to do things you want to do - how about a foot spa?🙂

Great idea Lucy, my toe nails could do with cutting, I hear they continue to grow after death 🙂 although I think I also heard that this was one of them there urban myths.

I was almost planning my funeral in case I didn't wake up from the anaesthetic.

I've already told the husband what I want playing as the coffin rolls away on the conveyor belt - Fire by that bloke from the 60's with the flammable hat - it should raise a laugh methinks.

Good luck with the operation. Have a chat with the anaesthetist about your worries. He or she will be able to talk you through things.

Afterwards you may have access to a morphine drip - my Mum did but they couldn't removed the gall bladder with keyhole, so it may be different. Use it if you need to, it should be set so that you can't take too much - but if you try and be brave and don't use it they will take it away. That was my brother's advice to my Mum and he is an anaesthetist.

Thanks for the tip Margie, apparently there's a 1:20 chance that they wont be able to use keyhole so if that happens, I'll definitely use the morphine.

Karen, we'll all be thinking of you and wishing you well, soon be Thursday 🙂

Hurray for Thursday - thanks Alan.

Wasn't that by Alice Cooper or is age catching up with my memory ?😱

Anyway you'll not be needing that - good luck and await hearing from you later on in the week.
